Diamond stimulants, whether synthetic or natural, are not diamonds! All they do is mimic the aesthetic and looks of natural/synthetic diamonds, but have neither the chemical composition nor the physical characteristics of diamonds.
The most common diamond stimulants are high-leaded glass (rhinestones) and cubic zirconium (CZ). Due to its low cost and close visual likeness to the diamond, CZ remained the most gemologically and economically important diamond stimulant. CZ is available in various grades depending on the cut and the size.
“Synthetic diamond stimulant” is a clever way to disguise a ‘diamond stimulant’ as a synthetic diamond.
“American diamond” and “Australian Diamond” are mere trade names for diamond stimulants; just another clever way to disguise them as diamonds of some sort.
